Sorptometers ASAP 2010 and ASAP 2020 from Micromeritics

Picture of sorptometer

ASAP 2010 and ASAP 2020 analyzers from Micromeritics are designed for low-temperature nitrogen adsorption measurements used to determine textural parameters of porous materials, such as specific surface area, total pore volume, and pore size distribution. Using turbomolecular pumps and precision pressure sensors with required stability, it is possible to precisely measure volume of micropores from 0.0001 cm3/g. The collected data are analyzed using specialized software with the implemented models including BET, Langmuir, BJH, Horvath-Kawazoe, Saito-Foley, DR, DA, MP, deBoer, t-plot, alpha-plot, NLDFT, 2D-NLDFT and nano NL-DFT. The device can be used in studying variously grained solid materials with strongly and poorly developed specific surface area, such as activated carbons, soot, ashes, pigments, ceramic materials, molecular sieves, catalysts and their supports, metals, powders, soils, pharmaceutical substances, microfilters, aerogels, membranes and many others.
