Thermo Scientific FLASH 2000 analyzer is designed for precise determination of content of C, N and H elements in samples of organic and inorganic chemical compounds, including carbon materials, polymers, minerals, sediments, wastes, medicines, plant materials, soil samples, fertilizers, food products, etc. The aparatus uses the method of dynamic, full combustion of samples in an oxidation-reduction furnace with an electronically controlled temperature. The evolved gaseous products are separated in a chromatographic column and analyzed by highly sensitive thermal conductivity detector (TCD). The device is equipped with an autosampler that allows an automatic measurement of 32 samples.
